Overview

Seminar description:

Learn the basics of clean aid climbing (without the use of pitons, copperheads, a bolt kit, etc.), including placing gear, leading on aid, jumaring, hauling, pendulums, big wall tactics, and other miscellaneous clean aid trickery.

Seminar requirements:

Three or more years of trad multi-pitch lead climbing experience at the 5.8 or higher level, including a lot of climbing experience in the last year or two. For the safety of students and instructors, we need to ensure that all students are safe and competent climbers, proficient with lead climbing, belaying, rappelling, communications, knots, etc. - this seminar will NOT be teaching or reviewing these skills.
